- 1.To purchase Service Connection permit, you will need the following:
- A.Copy of plumbing/water service permit from Greg Younk
- B.Copy of legal description of the property & parcel code number
- C.Information on building(s) to be connected (line length/list of fixtures)

- 2.Home owner or their contractor installs their portion of service line. Must follow Water District #1 specifications (service pipe, size determined by Water District #1, must be either Type K copper or polyethylene which is minimum of 160 psi, ASTM D 2239 (SIDR7 must be marked on tubing)). - 3.Inspection of outside service line. (Contact Greg Younk for inspection). Water District #1 will need copy of outside inspection report before scheduled for connection. Refer to page 3 Outside Service Line Inspection and Hook-up/Tap in booklet for complete details
- 4.Complete inside plumbing connections. Wells need to be disconnected before inspection. All brass materials from service line to the top valve shall be mechanical joints only. Refer to page 3 Installing Meter Yoke in booklet for complete details.

- 6.Meter Installation and Water Turn On. Water District #1 MUST have the approval report in order to schedule a meter set. Refer to page 4 Meter Installation and Water Turn On for complete details
