The meeting of the Lincoln Township Planning Commission was called to order by Chairperson Sheila Mesler at 6:50 pm.
Roll call was taken: Sue Ensign, Reid Duford, and Sheila Mesler were present. Mark Thornton and Chris Clark were absent.
A motion was made by Sue Ensign to approve the agenda and supported by Reid Duford. Motion approved 3-0.
Motion by Reid Duford and supported by Sue Ensign to approve the minutes of the May 3, 2016 meeting. Motion approved 3-0.

Public Hearing:
The Commission reviewed the final changes and held discussion of the completed Sign Ordinance and Resource Extraction Ordinance with Rob Eggers from Spicer Group.
A motion was made by Reid Duford, and supported by Sue Ensign, for the Planning Commission to adopt the ordinance changes and make a recommendation to the Township Board for final approval of said changes. Motion approved 3-0.
New Business:
Russell Scholtz for Scholtz Auto, LLC, has requested a Site Plan Review for Operation of a Used Car Lot at 3090 N Meridian Road. The commission reviewed and approved the request.
Gene Franek for XRM, Inc, has requested a Site Plan Review for Additional Storage Building (30X60) at 66 Price Road. The commission reviewed the request.
A motion was made by Reid Duford, and supported by Sue Ensign, to approve the request as amended by moving the proposed location of the new 30' x 60' storage building and attaching the new structure to the south end of the existing 30' x 60' storage building on the west side of the parcel – as seen in attached diagram.
Master Plan - has funding in place to begin the review and updating process by the Planning Commission. This process has been scheduled to begin at the September 20 meeting.
