The meeting of the Lincoln Township Planning Commission was called to order by Chairperson, Jamie Crockett at 6:30 pm.
Roll call was taken: Brett Fales, David Dauer, Jamie Crockett, and Reid Duford were present. Andrew Acker was absent.
A motion was made by David Dauer to approve the agenda. The motion was supported by Brett Fales and approved 4-0.
A motion was made by Reid Duford to approve the minutes of the May 7, 2024 meeting. The motion was supported by Brett Fales and approved 4-0.
Public Hearings
- 1.Airport Road between Dublin and Hicks Roads to re-zone the parcels in the proposed district from Business (B-1) to Business (B-2). Several property owners were present and took part in the Planning Commissions’ discussion. A motion was made by David Dauer to recommend, to the Lincoln Township Executive Board, changing the properties within the current B-1 zoning district to B-2 along Airport Road. Motion supported by Jamie Crockett and approved 4-0.
- 2.For the properties along the south side of E Saginaw Road, between Meridian Road to the Moose Lodge, a proposed rezoning of the properties within the district to change from Business (B-2) to Light Industrial (M-1). Several properties owners were present and contributed to the Planning Commission discussion. After a lengthy discussion a motion to table the proposed rezoning was made by Jamie Crockett so that the Planning Commission could investigate the issues that were brought to their attention during the public hearing. Motion supported by Reid Duford and approved 4-0.
