The meeting of the Lincoln Township Planning Commission was called to order by Chairperson Sheila Mesler at 6:30 pm.
Roll call was taken: Reid Duford, Sheila Mesler, Mark Thornton, and Sue Ensign were present. Chris Clark was absent.
A motion was made by Sue Ensign to approve the agenda and was supported by Mark Thornton. Motion approved 4-0.
Motion by Sue Ensign and supported by Reid Duford to approve the minutes of the January 7, 2014 meeting. Motion approved 4-0.

Commission Comments: Sue Ensign shared information about the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act
New Business
- 1.Sue Ensign stated that the Township Board had approved the Spicer Group as a new consultant to replace Cindy Winland.
- 2.A site plan for a commercial kitchen for a home occupation request by Lee Shaffert was discussed and recommended to be sent to the ZBA when the applicant was ready.
- 3.Sue Ensign discussed the proposed example of the “Noxious Weed and Uncontrolled Plant Growth Ordinance”. Shelia Mesler made the following motion: To postpone or waive implementation of such a weed ordinance until such time the Commission could be consulted by the Spicer Group on the subject and make a determination as to how code enforcement will be handled. The Motion was supported by Reid Duford. Motion approved 4-0.
