The meeting of the Lincoln Township Planning Commission was called to order by Chairperson Sheila Mesler at 6:37 pm.
Roll call was taken: Reid Duford, Sheila Mesler, Chris Clark, and Sue Ensign were all present. Mark Thornton was absent.
A motion was made by Sue Ensign to approve the agenda and was supported by Reid Duford. Motion approved 4-0.
Motion by Reid Duford and supported by Chris Clark to approve the minutes of the March 20, 2012 meeting. Motion approved 4-0.
Commission Comments: Sue Ensign said that the Lincoln Township board was looking into ideas and options on how best to use the additional land adjacent to the township hall. The township board had previously suggested a need for playground equipment, picnic tables, grills and other landscape and path improvements. The Planning Commission toured the property and suggested that a pavilion/picnic area would be nice, in that it could be rented for summertime parties and family outings. A pavilion would be relatively inexpensive to build and easy to maintain.

The commission discussed completing the procedures section of the ordinances as it relates to customary fees and application processes.
