The meeting of the Lincoln Township Planning Commission was called to order by Chairperson Sheila Mesler at 6:30 pm.
Roll call was taken: Reid Duford, Sheila Mesler, Mark Thornton, and Sue Ensign were present. Chris Clark was absent.
A motion was made by Sue Ensign to approve the agenda and was supported by Reid Duford. Motion approved 4-0.
Motion by Reid Duford and supported by Sue Ensign to approve the minutes of the July 16, 2013 meeting with an amendment to change the word “addition” in the last paragraph under Old Business to say “additional”. Motion approved 4-0.

Commission Comments: Sue Ensign spoke about stricter sign ordinance enforcement and sign violations.
New Business: Set meeting dates for 2014
A motion was made by Sue Ensign and supported by Reid Duford to schedule the 2014 meetings at 6:30 pm on the following dates: January 7, 2014, March 4, 2014, May 6, 2014, July 15, 2014, September 16, 2014, and November 18, 2014. The motion was approved 4-0.
Old Business: Discussion about residents’ complaints of un-kept lawns.
The Commission supports the Township Code Enforcement Officer’s notification of violations for such situations that are in direct violation of the Zoning Ordinance and asks that additional action be taken to ensure full compliance of the Township’s ordinances.
