The meeting of the Lincoln Township Planning Commission was called to order by Chairperson Jamie Crockett at 6:30 pm.
Roll call was taken: Jamie Crockett, Brett Fales and Andrew Acker were present. Reid Duford and David Dauer were absent. Lincoln Township Building Inspector, Justin Finney and Lincoln Township Zoning Administrator Building Official, Steve Marker were also present.
A motion was made by Andy Acker to approve the agenda. The motion was supported by Brett Fales and approved 3-0.
A motion by Brett Fales and supported by Andrew Acker to approve the minutes of the July 19, 2022, meeting. Motion approved 3-0.
New Business:
- 1.)House Condemnation a. William Reese Property at 2131 N. Hope Road (110-027-300-550-00) i. Planning Commission in conjunction with the Lincoln Township Zoning Administrator Building Official and the Lincoln Township Building Inspector conducted the hearing following the guidelines set forth in the Lincoln Township Zoning Ordinance, Section 3.11 Dangerous and Abandoned Buildings.
- b.Findings: i. William Reese has agreed to the below actions to be completed within 60 calendars from September 20, 2022: 1. Blight, trash, debris, and vehicles to be removed from the property; and 2. Existing garage structure and any foundations to be completely removed from the property; and 3. Existing house structure shall be free and clear of all contents; and 4. Upon completion of item number three, William Reese shall set up a site visit with Lincoln Township Building Inspector as a pre-building permit inspection to verify if the structure is repairable.
a. A motion was made by Brett Fales to approve the four actions items was made and supported by Andrew Acker. Motion was approved 3-0.
