New Business
Kerry Jezak and son made a request for a site plan review for two new storage buildings at 246 E Saginaw Road. The site plan calls for two 216’ x 50’ storage buildings designed for 18 condominium units to be sold to individual property owners.
After Commission discussion of the site plan, Reid Duford made a motion to require a special land use permit for the request. Sue Ensign supported the motion; however, the motion was defeated with 5 no votes.
Sheila Mesler made a second motion to table the request until the November 7, 2017 so that the petitioner can provide the commission with a draft copy of the Condominium Covenants & Restrictions, Association Bylaws, and any other relevant documentation, and a more detailed site plan with amended rear setbacks that meet ordinance requirements. The motion was supported by Reid Duford and approved 5-0.
