Lincoln Township
Board Meeting Minutes (unapproved)
April 11, 2017
The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order by the Supervisor at 7:00 pm, with Trinklein absent, Duford, Crockett, Ensign, Wray, and 10 guests present.
The agenda as amended was approved after motion by Ensign and second by Crockett.
Public comments were heard.
Correspondence was read.
The minutes of the March 14, 2017 regular board meeting, March 16, 2017 budget workshop, and March 21, 2017 special board meeting were approved after motion by Ensign and second by Crockett.
The treasurer’s report was heard.
Payment of bills in the amount of $27,287.71 in the general fund, $5,305.48 in the fire fund, $9,639.00 in the sanitation fund, and $197.02 in the liquor fund were approved by roll call vote after motion by Ensign and second by Crockett. Crockett-yes; Duford-yes; Ensign-yes; Trinklein-absent; Wray-yes.
The fire department, planning commission, building inspector, ordinance enforcement officer, water authority, solid waste, and park reports were heard.
Approved resolution to authorize Consumers Energy street light contract after motion by Crockett and second by Ensign.
Approved additional street light at intersection of Price Road and Harry Lane after motion by Ensign and second by Crockett.
Decline option to purchase foreclosed 2017 property tax parcels after motion by Crockett and second by Ensign.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:48 pm by Supervisor Wray.
