LINCOLN TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING MINUTES
August 11, 2009
The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order by the Supervisor at 7:00 pm, with Wray, Oswald, Ensign, Crockett, and Trinklein present, with 15 guests.
The agenda was approved after motion by Ensign and second by Crockett.
Public comments were heard and correspondence was read.
The minutes of the July 14, 2009 regular board meeting was approved after motion by Crockett and second by Oswald.
The treasurer’s report was heard.
Payment of bills in the amount of $20,569.94 in the general fund, $1,853.25 in the fire fund, $157.59 in the liquor fund, $858.75 in the water fund, and $7,577.83 in the sanitation fund were approved by roll call vote after motion by Oswald and second by Crockett. Crockett-yes; Oswald-yes; Ensign-yes; Trinklein-yes; Wray-yes.
The fire department, planning committee, building inspector, ordinance enforcement officer, water authority, and sold waste reports were heard.
Approved Shawn Marks as fire fighter trainee.
Discussed the 2010-2015 road program as presented.
Approved attendance at two upcoming MTA seminars for board members or employees wishing to attend after motion by Crockett and second by Ensign.
Approved 2009 tax rate requests of 1.2776 for operating purposes, .9976 for building and emergency services, and .9976 for water purposes by roll call vote after motion by Oswald and second by Crockett. Oswald-yes; Crockett-yes; Ensign-yes; Trinklein-yes; Wray-yes.
Approved resolution allowing pension plan partial surrenders after motion by Trinklein and second by Oswald. Ensign-yes; Trinklein-yes; Oswald-yes; Crockett-yes; Wray-yes.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:12 pm by Supervisor Wray.
