Lincoln Township
Board Meeting Minutes (proposed)
August 13, 2013
The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order by the Supervisor at 7:00 pm, with Wray, Ensign, Trinklein, Crockett, Thornton, and 11 guests present.
The agenda was approved after motion by Ensign and second by Crockett.
Public comments were heard and correspondence was read.
The minutes of the July 9, 2013 regular board meeting were approved after motion by Crockett and second by Thornton.
The treasurer’s report was heard.
Payment of bills in the amount of $17,865.90 in the general fund, $24,451.51 in the fire fund, $191.34 in the liquor fund, $13,912.25 in the water fund, and $12,524.41 in the sanitation fund were approved by roll call vote after motion by Ensign and second by Crockett. Crockett-yes; Thornton-yes; Ensign-yes; Trinklein-yes; Wray-yes.
The fire department, planning commission, ordinance enforcement officer, water authority, solid waste, and township parks reports were heard.
Heard 2012/2013 audit presentation from Angela Gwizdala of Andrews, Hooper & Pavlik.
Accepted resignation of Jim McCandless as constable after motion by Ensign and second by Thornton.
Approved attendance to MTA seminars after motion by Crockett and second by Ensign.
Discussed five-year township road program.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:15 pm by Supervisor Wray.
