Board Meeting Minutes (unapproved)
August 9, 2022
The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order by the Supervisor at 7:00 pm, with Wray, Trinklein, Fales and Sczepanski present, Crockett absent, and 15 guests present.
The agenda was approved after motion by Fales and second by Sczepanski.
Public comments were heard and correspondence was read.
The minutes of the July 12, 2022 regular board meeting were approved after motion by Fales and second by Trinklein.
The treasurer’s report was heard.
Approved ACH transfer of disbursements from Midland County.
Payment of bills in the amount of $80,350.81 in the general fund, $3,145.57 in the fire fund, $13,483.55 in the water fund, $16,610.24 in the sanitation fund, and $227.40 in the liquor fund were approved unanimously by roll call vote after motion by Sczepanski and second by Fales. Crockett-absent; Sczepanski-yes; Fales-yes; Trinklein-yes; Wray-yes.
The fire department, planning commission, building inspector, code enforcement, water authority, solid waste, and park reports were heard.
Approved three year quote from Burnham & Flower Insurance Group for Provident Accident & Health Policy for $125,000 of coverage for the fire department after motion by Trinklein and second by Fales.
Approved attendance to MTA seminars after motion by Wray and second by Sczepanski.
Approved unanimously by roll call vote a five year contract with Republic Services for solid waste and recycle pickup after motion by Wray and second by Trinklein. Crockett-absent; Sczepanski-yes; Fales-yes; Trinklein-yes; Wray-yes.
Approved attendance to MCTOA September dinner meeting after motion by Sczepanski and second by Fales.
Approved progress billing from Three Rivers Corporation for township hall addition in the amount of $58,279.05 after motion by Fales and second by Trinklein.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:34 pm by Supervisor Wray.
