December 9, 2025

UNAPPROVED

Meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. with full board and eight guests present.

Agenda was amended to include a letter to the Bureau of Elections, requesting reimbursement for elections. (Approved).

Public comment held. The red truck driving recklessly in the parking lot is continuing; police have been notified.

Minutes of November 11 meeting approved as presented.

Correspondence presented/discussed.

Clerk’s report given. Treasurer’s report given. Bills approved/paid with unanimous roll call vote.

Fire department report given; 15 calls since last report. Motion for maximum of $10K to be used for tires and additional repairs on fire engines; approved unanimous. Gas heater in far bay of fire barn is not working properly. Furnace company called to come and repair.

Planning Committee report given; meeting dates set for 2026/posted on bulletin board and webpage.

Building Inspector report given; two new permits issued.

Ordinance Enforcement report given; One new blight violation; three others followed up on.

Water Authority/Solid Waste reports given. Park report given. Restrooms winterized.

Solid Waste report given. New 2026 schedule for pickups sent out with tax bills/posted on website.

Website is now live; submit any comments/corrections to Kayden.

Brink/Retreat/Antique Road maintenance agreement – no additional update.

AED Purchase for hall is ongoing. Insurance company has no issue with it. Fire chief has offered to train anyone who wants to learn. Chief Cole stated 911 can instruct a caller through how to use it. Now we wait until one is available to install after the grant monies replace the other ones.

New firefighter Darrick Morley approved by Board/accepted as a trainee.

MACF TOWN Grant of $5K still available.

2026 Sanford Road Projects reviewed/estimates and explanation provided by Supervisor. Transfer from general fund to cover project cost approved unanimous.

Alarm company revised board that we currently only have four active cameras, not six. All are operating correctly.

2026 Board meeting dates approved; list available to post on bulletin board and web page.

Motion made to join MTA Online Subscription for training delivery/access. Board approved enrollment at $1900/year level for all board members to access.

Dave Dauer reappointed to planning commission until 12-31-28. Dana Mier reappointed to Zoning Board until 12-31-28. Fire department officers reappointed for same positions until 12-31-2027.
