Lincoln Township
Board Meeting Minutes (unapproved)
February 13, 2024
The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order at 7:00 pm, with Wray absent, and Fales, Crockett, Sczepanski, Trinklein, and 9 guests present.
The agenda as amended was approved after motion by Crockett and second by Sczepanski.
Public comments were heard and correspondence was read.
The minutes of the January 9, 2024 regular board meeting were approved after motion by Sczepanski and second by Crockett.
The treasurer’s report was heard.
Payment of bills in the amount of $41,537.46 in the general fund, $7,246.06 in the fire fund, $17,896.30 in the sanitation fund, $7,380.71 in the water fund, and $578.22 in the liquor fund were approved unanimously by roll call vote after motion by Fales and second by Trinklein. Crockett-yes; Sczepanski-yes; Fales-yes; Trinklein-yes; Wray-absent.
The fire department, planning commission, building inspector, code enforcement, water authority, solid waste, and park reports were heard.
Approved Kellie Nightlinger as volunteer fireperson after motion by Trinklein and second by Sczepanski.
Approved by roll call the 2024/25 salary resolution of 5% increases after motion by Fales and second by Sczepanski. Crockett-yes; Sczepanski-yes; Fales-absent; Trinklein-yes; Wray-absent.
Set budget hearing and truth in taxation hearing for March 26, 2024 at 6:00 pm.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:28 pm by acting Supervisor Fales.
