Board Meeting Minutes (proposed)
July 14, 2015
The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order by the Supervisor at 7:00 pm, with Crockett, Thornton, Ensign, Wray, and Trinklein, and 14 guests present.
The agenda as amended was approved after motion by Ensign and second by Thornton.
Public comments were heard and correspondence was read.
The minutes of the June 9, 2015 regular board meeting were approved after motion by Crockett and second by Ensign.
The treasurer’s report was heard.
Payment of bills in the amount of $23,738.94 in the general fund, $2,933.07 in the fire fund, $197.02 in the liquor fund, and $9,065.12 in the sanitation fund were approved by roll call vote after motion by Ensign and second by Thornton. Crockett-yes; Thornton-yes; Ensign-yes; Trinklein-yes; Wray-yes.
The fire department, planning commission, ordinance enforcement officer, water authority, parks committee, and solid waste reports were heard.
Reviewed quarterly financial statements.
Approved attendance to MTA Seminar after motion by Ensign and second by Crockett.
Approved expenditure of up to $3,200 for township & park signage after motion by Trinklein and second by Thornton.
Reviewed potential burning ordinance.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:14 pm by Supervisor Wray.
