Lincoln Township

Board Meeting Minutes (proposed)

July 8, 2014

The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order by the Supervisor at 7:00 pm, with Wray, Ensign, Trinklein, Crockett, Thornton, and 9 guests present.

Motion: Carried unanimously

The agenda as amended was approved after motion by Ensign and second by Thornton.

Public comments were heard and correspondence was read.

Motion: Carried unanimously

The minutes of the June 10, 2014 regular board meeting were approved after motion by Crockett and second by Ensign.

The treasurer’s report was heard.

Motion: Carried 5 to 0, roll call

Payment of bills in the amount of $23,399.23 in the general fund, $3,360.53 in the fire fund, $194.55 in the liquor fund, and $8,760.72 in the sanitation fund were approved by roll call vote after motion by Ensign and second by Thornton. Crockett-yes; Thornton-yes; Ensign-yes; Trinklein-yes; Wray-yes.

The fire department, planning commission, ordinance enforcement officer, water authority, parks committee, and solid waste reports were heard.

Motion: Carried unanimously

Approved chip and seal work for Sanford Road from Stark Road west to US 10 dead end after motion by Ensign and second by Crockett.

Discussed township facilities rental policy.

Motion: Carried unanimously

Approved attendance to MTA seminar on Hot Topic in Planning & Zoning after motion by Ensign and second by Crockett.

Motion: Carried unanimously

Approved payment of $300 to Burns Septic Service for pumping out septic tank and township hall after motion by Trinklein and second by Ensign.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:14 pm by Supervisor Wray.
