July 8, 2025

UNAPPROVED

Meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. with full board and eight guests present.

Agenda was accepted as presented.

Public comment held. New flag for hall was requested; purchase was approved.

Roof still leaks; Brett to call Brandle re: repair.

Correspondence presented and discussed.

Minutes of June 10, 2025 approved as read.

Treasurer’s report presented and approved.

Bills presented; unanimously approved for payment.

Fire department report presented by fire chief. 19 runs for June. May have a new recruit.

Planning commission/Building Inspector/Water Authority/Solid Waste/Township Parks reports presented.

Three new building permits issued.

Progress on new website discussed; Treasurer estimates it will be ~6 months until final prototype is ready.

Supervisor briefed Board on EGLE requirements for twp participation in stormwater project.

Motion: Carried unanimously

Motion for approval to spend but not exceed amount requested by Spicer carried unanimous.

Nate Meredith appointed as new water district representative, replacing Kevin Wray.

Supervisor will continue participation in MATS. No alternate appointed.

FD Health & Accident Insurance premium approved for year; coverage maintained at same level as 2024.

Supervisor said discussions are happening between Mills/Larkin/Hope/Lincoln concerning combining forces for a fire “district.” All is preliminary at this time; no decisions made.

Tire Collection Day is July 12 at Lincoln Township Hall from 9-1. Volunteer is needed.

Brink/Retreat/Antique Road assessment agreement renewal discussed. Supervisor is following up on this.
