Lincoln Township
Board Meeting Minutes (unapproved)
July 9, 2024
The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order at 7:00 pm, with Wray, Fales, Crockett, Sczepanski, Trinklein, and 9 guests present.
The agenda was approved after motion by Trinklein and second by Fales.
Public comments were heard and correspondence was read.
The minutes of the June 11, 2024 regular board meeting were approved after motion by Fales and second by Crockett.
The treasurer’s report was heard.
Approved opening an account at Michigan Class Investments after motion by Wray and second by Crockett.
Payment of bills in the amount of $22,407.38 in the general fund, $12,225.91 in the fire fund, $26,849.22 in the water fund, $12,806.40 in the sanitation fund, and $228.72 in the liquor fund were approved unanimously by roll call vote after motion by Sczepanski and second by Fales. Crockett-yes; Sczepanski-yes; Fales-yes; Trinklein-yes; Wray-yes.
The fire department, planning commission, building inspector, code enforcement, water authority, solid waste, and park reports were heard.
Approved payment of invoice from Spicer Group in the amount of $13,006 for engineering services for the N. Hope Rd. water main extension after motion by Sczepanski and second by Fales.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:31 pm by Supervisor Wray.
