Board Meeting Minutes (unapproved)
June 12, 2023
The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order by Trustee Fales at 7:00 pm, with Fales, Crockett, Sczepanski, Trinklein and 12 guests present, and Wray absent.
The agenda as amended was approved after motion by Sczepanski and second by Crockett.
Public comments were heard and correspondence was read.
The minutes of the May 9, 2023 regular board meeting were approved after motion by Crockett and second by Sczepanski.
The treasurer’s report was heard.
Payment of bills in the amount of $23,105.73 in the general fund, $8,295.37 in the fire fund, $12,327.75 in the sanitation fund, and $227.86 in the liquor fund were approved unanimously by roll call vote after motion by Sczepanski and second by Crockett. Crockett-yes; Sczepanski-yes; Fales-yes; Trinklein-yes; Wray-absent.
The fire department, planning commission, building inspector, code enforcement, water authority, solid waste, and park reports were heard.
Approved poverty exemption for 2023 after motion by Trinklein and second by Crockett.
Approved by roll call vote expenditures up to $40,000 for tree removal and earthwork at township park ball field by Pats Gradall Services after motion by Crockett and second by Fales. Crockett-yes; Sczepanski-yes; Fales-yes; Trinklein-yes; Wray-absent.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:38 pm by Trustee Fales.
