Board Meeting Minutes (unapproved)
March 12, 2024
The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order at 7:00 pm, with Wray absent, and Fales, Crockett, Sczepanski, Trinklein, and 14 guests present.
The agenda as amended was approved after motion by Crockett and second by Sczepanski.
Public comments were heard and correspondence was read.
The minutes of the February 13, 2024 regular board meeting were approved after motion by Sczepanski and second by Crockett.
The treasurer’s report was heard.
Payment of bills in the amount of $19,324.45 in the general fund, $2,123.16 in the fire fund, $12,806.40 in the sanitation fund, and $228.72 in the liquor fund were approved unanimously by roll call vote after motion by Sczepanski and second by Trinklein. Crockett-yes; Sczepanski-yes; Fales-yes; Trinklein-yes; Wray-absent.
The fire department, planning commission, building inspector, code enforcement, water authority, solid waste, and park reports were heard.
Approved by roll call budget amendments for the 2023/24 fiscal year after motion by Trinklein and second by Crockett. Crockett-yes; Sczepanski-yes; Fales-absent; Trinklein-yes; Wray-absent.
Approved by roll call vote a proposal from Finney Trucking in the amount of $32,860 for parking lot construction off Red Keg Court after motion by Crockett and second by Sczepanski. Crockett-yes; Sczepanski-yes; Fales-absent; Trinklein-yes; Wray-absent.
Approved assessor’s contract for a term expiring December 31, 2027 in the amount of $24,000 per year after motion by Sczepanski and second by Fales.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:28 pm by acting Supervisor Fales.
