Board Meeting Minutes (unapproved)
May 12, 2020
The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order through a teleconference (as allowed by the Governor of Michigan Executive Order 2020-15) by the Supervisor at 7:00 pm, with Wray, Trinklein, Duford, Ensign, Crockett and 5 guests present.
The agenda was approved unanimously by roll call vote after motion by Ensign and second by Crockett.
Public comments were heard and correspondence was read.
The minutes of the April 14, 2020 regular board meeting were approved unanimously by roll call vote after motion by Crockett and second by Ensign.
The treasurer’s report was heard.
Payment of bills in the amount of $14,915.70 in the general fund, $4,266.04 in the fire fund, $15,139.17 in the sanitation fund, and $187.04 in the liquor fund were approved unanimously by roll call vote after motion by Crockett and second by Ensign.
The fire department, planning commission, building inspector, code enforcement, water authority, solid waste, and park reports were heard.
Set scrap tire collection date for July 18, 2020.
Approved unanimously by roll call vote a proposal from Finney Trucking to move path on west side of ball field for an amount not to exceed $3,585 after motion by Crockett and second by Ensign.
Approved unanimously by roll call vote a proposal from Smith Line Striping & Sealcoating to seal and stripe parking lot for an amount not to exceed $4,900 after motion by Ensign and second by Crockett.
Approved unanimously by roll call vote a proposal from L.M. Satkowiak & Sons to pave approximately 1,000 feet of walking path for an amount not to exceed $25,000 after motion by Wray and second by Crockett.
Approved unanimously by roll call vote to purchase 12 voting booths from Election Source in an amount not to exceed $2,500 after motion by Trinklein and second by Ensign.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:53 pm by Supervisor Wray.
