Board Meeting Minutes (Proposed)

May 8, 2012

The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order by the Supervisor at 7:00 pm, with Wray, Crockett, Ensign, Oswald, Trinklein, and 19 guests present.

Motion: Carried

The agenda was approved after motion by Ensign and second by Oswald.

Public comments were heard and correspondence was read.

Motion: Carried

The minutes of the April 10, 2012 regular board meeting were approved after motion by Oswald and second by Crockett.

The treasurer’s report was heard.

Motion: Carried 5 to 0, roll call

Payment of bills in the amount of $17,915.15 in the general fund, $5,529.86 in the fire fund, $188.19 in the liquor fund, and $12,346.32 in the sanitation fund were approved by roll call vote after motion by Crockett and second by Ensign. The fire department, planning committee, ordinance enforcement officer, water authority, and solid waste reports were heard.

Approved refusal to purchase foreclosed parcels located in the township after motion by Wray and second by Oswald.

Approved by roll call vote a resolution to place on the ballot a proposal for the renewal of the previously approved levy of one (1.0) mill for the construction of water lines and the purchase of related equipment on all taxable property in the Township of Lincoln for a period of four (4) years, from 2013 to 2016, inclusive, after motion by Oswald and second by Ensign. Crockett-yes; Oswald-yes; Ensign-yes; Trinklein-yes; Wray-yes.

Approved by roll call vote a resolution to place on the ballot a proposal for the renewal of the previously approved levy of one (1.0) mill for building and emergency services and the purchase of related equipment on all taxable property in the Township of Lincoln for a period of four (4) years, from 2013 to 2016, inclusive, after motion by Crockett and second by Ensign. Crockett-yes; Oswald-yes; Ensign-yes; Trinklein-yes; Wray-yes.

Approved painting of building proposal from Lake Painting in the amount of $5,757 after motion by Ensign and second by Crockett.

Motion: Carried

Approved attendance to the MCTOA June dinner meeting after motion by Crockett and second by Trinklein.

Motion: Carried

Approved proposal from assessor to provide electronic parcel sketches for an amount not to exceed $3,200 after motion by Crockett and second by Ensign.

Meeting was adjourned at 9:08 pm by Supervisor Wray.
