Board Meeting Minutes (unapproved)
May 8, 2018
The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order by the Supervisor at 7:00 pm, with Ensign, Wray, Trinklein, Duford, Crockett, and 11 guests present.
The agenda was approved after motion by Ensign and second by Crockett.
Public comments were heard and correspondence was read.
The minutes of the April 10, 2018 regular board meeting were approved after motion by Crockett and second by Ensign.
The treasurer’s report was heard.
Payment of bills in the amount of $21,753.05 in the general fund, $10,522.84 in the fire fund, $9,928.00 in the sanitation fund, and $204.85 in the liquor fund were approved by roll call vote after motion by Ensign and second by Crockett. Crockett-yes; Duford-yes; Ensign-yes; Trinklein-yes; Wray-yes.
The fire department, planning commission, building inspector, code enforcement, water authority, solid waste, and park reports were heard.
Approved spending additional matching funds of $25,000 for 2018 road work after motion by Ensign and second by Trinklein.
Approved renewal of 2018/19 township insurance policy including terrorism coverage with Burnham & Flower Insurance Agency after motion by Wray and second by Duford.
Approved declining option to purchase foreclosed 2018 property tax parcels after motion by Crockett and second by Duford.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:47 pm by Supervisor Wray.
