Township Board Meeting Minutes — November 11, 2025

Meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. with full board and thirteen guests present.

Agenda was amended to include 2 security camera repairs. Approved as amended.

Public comment held. One comment concerning ongoing building project.

Minutes of October 14 meeting approved as presented.

Correspondence presented.

Clerk’s report given. Treasurer’s report given. Bills approved/paid with unanimous roll call vote.

Fire department report given; 11 calls since last report. No estimates presented re: replacement tires for fire engine.

Planning Committee report given; meeting dates set for 2026.

Building Inspector report given; eight new permits issued.

Ordinance Enforcement report given; two new violations; one noise/one blight.

Water Authority/Solid Waste reports given. Township trash can supply is low.

Park report given. Restrooms winterized. Township has received a request to open park in early April for Little League. More details to come.

Solid Waste report given. New 2026 schedule for pickups is available to post on website for residents.

Update on website given. Possibly go live by end of November.

Brink/Retreat/Antique road maintenance agreement – no additional update.

AED Purchase for hall discussed; need additional details from Chief/check with attorney & insurance on liability issues.

Traveler Workman Comp invoice discussed; will be paid in December.

Attendance approved to MCTOA Holiday Dinner Meeting on December 11.

Attendance approved to MTA Winter Seminar.

2026 Sanford Road Projects reviewed/estimates and explanation provided by Supervisor.

Sanford Historical Society support request discussed. Supervisor drafted resolution for establishment and support of historical interests within the township. Account funded with $1500/funds granted to Sanford Historical Society. Board approved unanimously.

MACF town grant $5K process ongoing; additional discussion at December’s meeting.

Alarm company reported two security cameras need to be replaced. Process ongoing.

Update on possible stop sign at intersection in front of hall; process started with authorities, but not likely to occur.

Truck driving recklessly in township hall parking lot discussed.
