LINCOLN TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING MINUTES
May 12, 2009
The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order by the Supervisor at 7:03 pm, with Wray, Oswald, Ensign, Crockett, and Trinklein present, with 17 guests.
The agenda was approved after motion by Oswald and second by Crockett.
The regular meeting was suspended at 7:05 pm and a public hearing was held on the re-establishment of an Industrial Development District for Virginia Drive and the establishment of a Plant Rehabilitation District for 1550 E. Virginia Drive. The public hearing was closed at 7:47 pm and the regular meeting was reopened.
Public comments were heard and correspondence was read.
The minutes of the April 14, 2009 regular board meeting was approved after motion by Ensign and second by Oswald.
The treasurer’s report was heard.
Payment of bills in the amount of $20,503.06 in the general fund, $15,358.05 in the fire fund, and $157.59 in the liquor fund were approved by roll call vote after motion by Crockett and second by Ensign. Ensign-yes; Oswald-yes; Crockett-yes; Trinklein-yes; Wray-yes.
The fire department, planning committee, building inspector, ordinance enforcement officer, water authority, and sold waste reports were heard.
Approved Plant Rehabilitation District for 1550 E. Virginia Drive after motion by Oswald and second by Crockett.
Approved attendance at MCTOA summer dinner meeting on June 4, 2009 at Homer Township public service building after motion by Ensign and second by Trinklein.
Approved private road maintenance agreement with Midland County Road Commission for Mustang Lane after motion by Wray and second by Ensign.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:36 pm by Supervisor Wray.
