The meeting of the Lincoln Township Planning Commission was called to order by Chairperson Sue Ensign at 6:30 pm.
Roll call was taken: Susan Ensign, Reid Duford, Sheila Mesler, and Chris Clark were present. Mark Thornton was absent.
A motion was made by Chris Clark to approve the agenda and was supported by Reid Duford. Motion approved 4-0.
Motion by Sheila Mesler and supported by Chris Clark to approve the minutes of the June 28, 2011 meeting. Motion approved 4-0.
New Business
The Commission has requested that the Lincoln Township Board re-establish the Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals to assure full compliance with the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act (PA 110 of 2006). Cindy Winland, Crescent Consulting, Inc., can provide the Board information on this process.
