The meeting of the Lincoln Township Planning Commission was called to order by Chairperson Sheila Mesler at 6:30 pm.
Roll call was taken: Sue Ensign, Reid Duford, Sheila Mesler, Chris Clark and Mark Thornton were all present.
A motion was made by Reid Duford to approve the agenda and was supported by Sue Ensign. Motion approved 5-0.
Motion by Sue Ensign and supported by Sheila Mesler to approve the minutes of the January 6, 2015 meeting. Motion approved 5-0.
Commission Comments: Sue Ensign commented on some building placement issues for the Dewitt Lumber warehouse project on Airport Road. Sue also mentioned there will be training classes held in Frankenmuth if any of the Commission members are interested in attending the Strategic Planning class.
Public Comments: None
New Business: None
Old Business: A short discussion was conducted with respect to the proposed sign, blight, weed and mining ordinances as compared to other townships. The Commission will review the materials provided by Rob Eggers from the Spicer group for future discussion when Rob could be present.
The next meeting is scheduled for May 5, 2015
