The meeting of the Lincoln Township Planning Commission was called to order by Chairperson Sheila Mesler at 6:30 pm.
Roll call was taken: Sue Ensign, Reid Duford, Chris Clark, Mark Thornton and Sheila Mesler were all present.
A motion was made by Sue Ensign to approve the agenda and was supported by Sheila Mesler. Motion approved 5-0.
Motion by Reid Duford and supported by Chris Clark to approve the minutes of the July 21, 2015 meeting. Motion approved 5-0.
Commission Comments
Sue Ensign shared information from a training class about “Hot Topics in Planning & Zoning” she had attended. She touched on issues with the Right to Farm Act and Medical Marijuana.

Rob Eggers from the Spicer group spoke more about the sign, burning, and mining ordinances and offered his recommendations to improve the language and enforcement of these issues. The commission has settled on the proposed language to improve the sign ordinance and will review the final draft language for the burning and mining ordinances at November meeting.
The next meeting is scheduled for November 17, 2015
