The meeting of the Lincoln Township Planning Commission was called to order by Chairperson, Jamie Crockett at 6:30 pm.

Roll call was taken: Brett Fales, Andrew Acker, Jamie Crockett, and Reid Duford were present. David Dauer was absent.

Motion: Carried unanimously

A motion was made by Jamie Crockett to amend and then approve the agenda. The amendment was to correct the statement to say, “….Airport Road between Dublin and Hicks Roads”. The motion was supported by Reid and approved 4-0.

Motion: Carried unanimously

A motion was made by Reid Duford to amend and then approve the minutes of the March 5, 2024 meeting. The amendment was to correct the statement to say, “….Airport Road between Dublin and Hicks Roads”. Motion approved 4-0.

New Business:
Review of the zoning districts on Airport Road between Dublin and Hicks Roads; and along the south side of East Saginaw Road between Meridian Road and the Moose Lodge. The Commission had a discussion considering a zoning change on East Saginaw Road from Business to light industrial, and considering a zoning change on Airport Road from Business B-1 to Business B-2. The Planning Commission determined a zoning change was needed to bring the property uses more in to conformity with the current Zoning Ordinance.

Motion: Carried unanimously

A motion was made by Reid Duford to hold a public hearing at the next Planning Commission Meeting on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. Property owners within the district and within 300 feet of the district will be notified of the public hearing not less than 15 days before the public hearing date. (Zoning District Maps are in the pages to follow). The motion was supported by Jamie Crockett. Motion approved 4-0.
